AMES CMA is a company within the AMES group that develops, builds and validates inhouse a very large part of the machinery and the automation systems used to produce the sintered components.
AMES considers in-house building of machinery and automatic control systems to be a strategic activity because it allows to adapt the machinery exactly to the needs of the product, and also provides a very short reaction time in cases of breakdowns or process incidents.
The AMES CMA team is composed of more than 35 people who are highly qualified technically and divided into multidisciplinary areas, with specific teams for mechanical and electrical design and assembly.
AMES CMA designs and builds the following machinery:
■ Compacting and sizing presses.
■ Machining: machines and transfers for drilling, threading, polishing, brushing, etc.
■ Machines for ultrasonic cleaning in aqueous media.
■ Machines for quality and testing: Computerized visual inspection, dimensional checks, life tests, functional tests, etc.
■ Automation: Robotics, pallet loaders, assembly machines, manipulators, etc.
