Tooling is a key element for the manufacturing of sintered components. This is the production element that defines the shape of the component and that most contributes to its dimensional accuracy and its dimensional stability in the process.
The tooling used for compacting and sizing components and the tools used for quality control, machining, assembly and other complementary operations of the process are designed and built within the AMES group.
The tooling is projected by the Central Technical Office as a fundamental part of the process to obtain the product, and is subsequently produced by the AMES Tooling company.
AMES Tooling is made up of a main factory located in Barcelona and work centers located at each production plant of the group. This structure provides a great tool construction strength and a lot of flexibility.
