One of the differentiating features of AMES is its Participation and Continuous Improvement program, through which all the know-how, intelligence, experience and knowledge of all employees is collected. Having the collaboration of all the people who make up the company improves the competitiveness and positioning of AMES in the market.
For all these reasons, and framed in the field of Total Quality, AMES has established a Participation and Continuous Improvement program since 1982 in order to stimulate, collect and manage the greatest possible number of improvements. This program encompasses several channels, such as Task-Force groups, PICOS exercises, Lean cells, TPM and Quality Circles. This last channel is especially relevant due to its voluntary nature, teamwork, continuity over time and absolute self-management freedom, and includes 70% of the AMES staff distributed in the more than 80 existing Quality Circles.
All this activity generates up to 6,500 Improvement Ideas annually, representing more than 5 contributions per person per year, and is managed through software that streamlines their management, thus making it possible to share the improvement ideas between centers more easily and quickly.
